Welcome to the Comm64 support forum.

The 32 and 64bit Communications component (DLL) for .Net projects.

As the name suggests, the Comm64 component is capable of operating in native 64bit mode. But you can also build it into .x86 and 'AnyCPU' projects where it'll operate in whatever mode your own project is targetting. We've provided fully functional sample projects in VB and c# 2005, 2008 and 2010 to show it's compatible with older versions of visual studio.

Comm64 uses the same syntax, methods and properties as MSComm32 so if you've used MSComm before and you're now looking for a proper 32/64 bit .Net component then you shouldn't have much trouble using Comm64 instead of MScomm32
